Your Tires Fail the Penny Test
Did you know you can easily test your tire tread depth with pocket change? You can. Grab a penny, and put it in the tire with Lincoln’s head facing down.
If Lincoln’s head disappears between the ribs, your tread is above 2/32”, which is a good thing. If you can spot the top of Lincoln’s head, your tires have failed this test. It means your tire tread isn’t sufficient, and you need new tires.
